Default Error message 1706 appears when I attempt to open MS Word 2002

When I click on the MicroSoft Word icon, I receive an error message 1706 that
states "files cannot be located" This occurs after the dialog box appears
stating that I need to put in my CD to run the program requested. When I
click on cancel, the application opens up.

Can anyone tell me why MS Word is responding like this or what should I do
to have it open up like any other application?

Hi ?B?VGhlb3BoaWx1cw==?=,

I suggest you ask this in the Office.setup newsgroup. Be sure to mention the
version of Word and of Windows. Also list any anti-virus or management software
installed and running.
