Assigning shortcut key to macro
Hi,
I've got a template that contains an elaborate set of macros. I have a button which I want to assign a shortcut for that will execute a macro. It's something I've done many times but this particular file doesn't seem to recognize it. I switched shortcuts to see if the problem was the actual shortcut I had chosen, with no impact. None of the shortcuts I was trying to assign were originally assigned to anything. I did it a few minutes ago to the french version of the macro without a problem. One difference I noticed between the two files when I went back to check the assignment was that the successful one showed the macro name as read-only text on the assignment screen, whereas the unsuccessful one did not. Both showed the keyboard shortcut in the 'current keys' listbox. I'm using Word 2000. Any ideas? |

Assigning shortcut key to macro
I have experienced the same problem once and tried all kinds of things in
order to make the shortcut work. Finally, I found that it helped renaming the macro itself - you may want to try this too. -- Regards Lene Fredborg DocTools - Denmark www.thedoctools.com Document automation - add-ins, macros and templates for Microsoft Word "jille" wrote: Hi, I've got a template that contains an elaborate set of macros.
