Default Unwanted bookmarks

Hello,

How do bookmarks that are seemingly automatically named 'OLE_LINK1' and
'OLE_LINK2' get into a document if I haven't deliberately put them there?
This is not just happening in one document but several.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

These are created by Word on-the-fly when you copy/paste stuff around
"as a link".
