Default Why is there not a template for authors?

Why can't we authors have a template set up for us so that we can write our
books with preferences purely for us.

Create your own! Or, if you can wait a bit, you'll find one at

Gee, someone else is supposed to figure out your personal preferences and
create your template for you? Would you like them to write your book while
they're at it? Then clean your teeth, walk your dog, feed your children and
mow the lawn ...
