Default sources/bibliography control and streamlining

I am using sources from several bibliographies (copied and pasted), but this
results in different setups of my bibliography. two different sources, each
labeled as "book", shows up a bit different in the document itself. (some
have writer's complete name, title and year, others have only writers
lastname and year)

how do i "streamline" my bibliography?

It sounds like you're doing this with static text rather than newly
inserting all the Sources into your document as Citations. (It won't
let more than one "style" appear in a document at a time.)

If each document has its own set of Managed Sources, you probably have
a Master List that includes all the entries. You can insert Citations
from that Master List.

Separate lists can apparently be merged into a single Master List, but
someone like Yves Dhondt will have to show you how.
