i have been given a project of making a flyer with words as the border.
I.e. 'spsonsors of junior bowls' as the page border.
I cannot find out how to do this,. any advise would be helpful.
i have both Word 97 and Home Publisher 2000

There is no built-in way to do this. You'll have to create four text boxes.

though these will mostly be inapplicable to (a) a text border and/or (b) a
border to appear on only one page.
