Left and Right Margins of Footers (Microsoft Word Vista)
I have a document that I want the left and right margins to be .25 in the
footer. However, I want the margins of the page itself (area outside of the footer) to be 1" left and right. Is there a way to accomplish this without a section break? |

It might not let you have a 1/4" margin (because your printer might
not be able to handle it), but you can change your header & footer margins by going to them (View H & F, or double--click in one) and moving the icons up in the ruler. Apply -0.75" (that's a negative number) left and right indents to the footer
