Avery 8167 Label Template Wrong
Word 2003's Avery Label Templates rarely agree with the actual label
printing process. They almost always allow printing to "creep" up or down the page with text overflowing the label edges. If properly aligned at the top, the text prints slightly higher on each label vertically below the first overlapping label edges significantly by the time it prints on the bottom label in a column. That holds true for the six-up and 20 up labels in addition to the Avery 8167 (80-up) labels. However, on the Avery 8167 labels the template is even worse. The template shows a roughly ¼" gutter between the 1st & 2nd columns of labels. However the actual approximate ¼" gutter is between the 2nd & 3rd columns on the label stock. Is there any way I can adjust the Avery 8167 Label Template to make it conform to the actual label stock? -- With kindest regards, Dick Smith |
