!Zero Divide Error
I'm getting a divide by zero error using this formula =B3/C3. I read the
response from Doug Robbins saying to type the formula directly into the table cell; the formula in the response was { IF { SUM (C3:E3) } = 0 0 { = F3/SUM{C3:E3) } }, using Ctrl + F9 for each set of field brackets. I tried adapting my formula as {If(B3/C3)=0 0 (B3/C3)} which didn't work. I tried {If{(B3/C3)}=0 0 {(B3/C3)}} which didn't work either. What am I doing wrong? Also, is there any way to assign a macro to a drawn object in Word? TIA! |

!Zero Divide Error
Hi cottage6,
Try: {=IF(C3=0,0,B3/C3)} I don't quite understand what you mean by "assign a macro to a drawn object". Perhaps you could elaborate in a new thread.
