Number * of 150 copies in a label
Greetings
I have to create text in150 labels and each label needs to have a line at the bottom - Number 1 of 150, Number 2 of 150, etc, etc ..... Is it possible in word to create a numbering sequence for labels similar to page numbering? Martin ©¿©¬ |

Yes, using SEQ fields. Bookmark the last field and use a REF field to that
bookmark as your numlabels field. Martin,
If you know that you will have 150 labels then you can use a construction like this: "Number {SEQ myLables } of 150" where the field code braces { } are entered with CTRL+F9. myLables is arbitary. You could use any unique sequence identifier. Just copy the field and text to each lable, press CTRL+a to select the entire document and press F9 to update the fields. If the field code doesn't toggle to display the numbers, press ALT+F9. -- Greg Maxey/Word MVP A Peer in Peer to Peer Support Martin ©¿©¬ @mandeREMOVETHIS.plus.com wrote: On Fri, 24 Dec 2004 12:25:59 -0600, "Charles Kenyon" wrote: Yes, using SEQ fields.
