Default Autocorrect and Subscripts

In Word, is there any way to set up an autocorrect to use subscripting?
(e.g. H20) Can't even do it in this post!

Create the text, with its formatting, in the body of a document. Select that
text. Then open the Tools AutoCorrect Options dialog. Click the "Formatted
text" option button above the replacement, which should now show the
formatting. To the left, enter the text to be replaced, and click OK.
