Default Will Word 2003 Trial version documents be available to earlier ve.

I'm currently using a trial version of Office 2003 including Word. I'm very
concerned that long documents (100+ pages)I was working on with an earlier
version of Word and edited with the trial version will be lost when when the
trial expires. Since the trial version wipes out the earlier version, will I
lose my text documents...even the unedited ones if I don't purchase Office
2003?
