E-mailing a password protected document with form fields
Hi,
When e-mailing a password protected document that has form fields, the recipient can edit the document by selecting YES to merge changes (i.e. doc loses its protection). How can I ensure the doc. protection always remains intact when e-mailed? (The doc. must always retain the same file name). Using Word ver 2002 Thank you in advance |

I dont know if this would help, but try setting the document to read only.

There's nothing you can do about it. Protecting a form is just to make the
document work as a form; it's not a form of security. If the user can see the document, they can do what they like with it. Making it read-only does nothing. "DeDe" wrote in message ...
