How do I set a page border which is 1 1/2" from the left edge and extends
through a Header? |

This is easier to do with a drawing line anchored to the header paragraph.

I'm not sure what "anchoring" is but I will investigate it further.

If you View | Header and Footer before drawing the line, then the line will
be anchored to the header paragraph by default. This means it will repeat on every page. -- Suzanne S.
