WINWORD.EXE starts at boot up of PC
Should WINWORD.EXE start at bootup or is this due to a virus?

WINWORD.EXE starts at boot up of PC
No it shouldn't, but that doesn't mean you have a virus. The wonderful world
of Windows has many shades of grey. Check the usual suspects first: check your registry for instances of winword.exe -- is there an entry under Windows\Run?; check the start menu; check the services list. "Baza24" wrote in message ... Should WINWORD.EXE start at bootup or is this due to a virus? |

Or whether there's a shortcut to winword.exe in Windows' Startup folder.

WINWORD.EXE starts at boot up of PC
winword.exe is not in the startup folder nor is it in the Windows/Run folder.

It's not starting itself. Keep looking. It's your computer.
