I can't figure out how to have it open my outlook email instead of trying to
go online and login to my hotmail account.

anyone know how to fix that? When I go into Outlook, my exchange server
email is the default.

You need to make Outlook your default e-mail program

Open Outlook

Click TOOLS menu & then click OPTIONS

On the OTHER tab, check the 'Make Outlook the default e-mail, contacts, and
calandar'

Click APPLY

Click OK

Restart Outllook just to make sure.
