Default how to page number multiple copies of same single page doc in Word

My document is a single sheet. I would like 100 copies to be page numbered
in Word (1-100) then send the document to print, with each sheet numbered
differently.

I do not want to make my document 100 pages long and then insert numbers.

Thank you Jay for the info. I have to admit that the instructions are too
complex for me to follow as my knowledge is limited. Ultimately, it might be
quicker for me to do it as I mentioned before, by copying my single page into
100 pages and insert numbers. I was rather hoping that there was a more
simple way of carrying out the numbering!
