Strange white space after headings
In using Win XP, Word 2002, I'm getting white space after
headings 3 & 4 (I unchecked all keep lines together, widow orphan control etc & have been using Shauna Kelly's numbering scheme successfully for awhile) so that there is almost 1/2 page of white space after some headings with the body text on the next page. I cleared all formats in case of direct formatting and tried to put the heading on the next page but it keeps popping back up to the previous page, leaving me chunks of white space. The users of this document did use Hidden text that I had to go in and delete so I don't know if there is a connection to hidden text and white space. I checked Normal View and there are no hard page breaks, just the dotted line that I can't delete. Thx for any ideas, I'm desperate. |
