Default page/text is off center

I just started working with word 2003. The page orientation is off. The text
appears skewed to the left and when I print, it is that way also and the text
is also smaller. I can't find anything on the page setup that is causing
this. What is going on?

I would guess that you have Track Changes enabled. Word is leaving room for
the balloons.
