Default 4-up postcards turned into mailers...

Does anyone know where I can get a template for this? I've looked on Office
online, but I don't think I'm using the right keywords.

Word 2003.

Cheers,

Mike Whalen

It occurs to me I may not have explained what I am trying to do.

Here's a small sketch:

+---------------------------+
| G G | G G |
| mt | mt |
| | |
+-------------+-------------+
| G G | G G |
| mt | mt |
| | |
+-------------+-------------+

G = Graphic
mt= merged text

So, it's a 4-up piece, 8.5x11 landscape. Each merged text block is a NEW
address, not the same address. It's a mailer, not a postcard, per se.

Cheers,

Mike Whalen

Use a Label type mailmerge. for the graphics part of it, See the article
"Graphics on Labels" on fellow MVP Graham Mayor's website at:

I have been looking at that document a bit this morning. Thanks.

What I don't seem to understand from it, though, is how it related to
different graphic images in different areas of the label, plus text that
should be dead center inside the label. He's using a single graphic in the
background. That's okay, but it's not what I am trying to do.

Am I not reading it correctly? (Probably not. ;-)

To get the layout that you want, you may need to split the cell that
represent each postcard into a number of separate cells.

Maybe first one split horizontally and then split the cell that now
represents the top half into two vertically

Then you put a graphic into each cell in the top row and center the address
in the bottom row.

Or maybe you need to split the top row into 3 horizontally.

There is not doubt that it can be done, just takes a bit of imagination.
