Protecting Word Documents
Hello,
I am trying to password protect an application in Word so that users can only enter information in one section. I followed the instructions for protecting a document and checked "Filling In Forms" under the "Editing Restrictions" section. When I then clicked on "Start Enforcing Protection" and entered a password, nothing at all can be entered in the document. I tried this procedure again and checked "Comments" and I got the same result. How do I get the form to allow for adding information in one section of the application? |

Protecting Word Documents
You have to set the document up so there are section breaks, then protect
each section differently. If you have a table, split the table and add a section break (Continuous I think) then protect whatever section you want to.
