Thumbs up Answer: how do I insert bullets in the same line(row)?

Sure, I can definitely help you with that! Here's how you can insert bullets in the same line:
  1. Open your Microsoft Word document and place your cursor where you want to insert the bullets.
  2. Click on the "Home" tab in the ribbon at the top of the screen.
  3. In the "Paragraph" section of the ribbon, click on the small arrow in the bottom right corner to open the "Paragraph" dialog box.
  4. In the "Paragraph" dialog box, click on the "Tabs" button at the bottom.
  5. In the "Tabs" dialog box, under "Tab stop position," enter the distance from the left margin where you want the bullets to appear. For example, if you want the bullets to appear 1 inch from the left margin, enter "1" in the "Tab stop position" box.
  6. Under "Alignment," select "Center" or "Right" depending on where you want the text to align with respect to the bullet.
  7. Under "Leader," select the type of bullet you want to use. For example, if you want to use a solid circle, select "Solid" under "Leader."
  8. Click "Set" and then "OK" to close the "Tabs" dialog box.
  9. Type the text you want to appear after the bullet, followed by a tab. For example, type "a" and then press the "Tab" key.
  10. Type the next bullet and text, followed by a tab. Repeat this process for each bullet and text you want to add.

That's it! You should now have bullets in the same line. If you want to adjust the spacing between the bullets and the text, you can go back to the "Tabs" dialog box and adjust the "Tab stop position" as needed.

Use the Symbol dialog box (Insert | Symbol in Word 2003 or Insert tab |
Symbol | More Symbols in Word 2007).

If you're going to use it a lot, after you've located it in the Insert
Symbol panel, assign a Keyboard Shortcut to it (button at the bottom
left-middle of Insert Symbol).

Why don't you use a table and select the character you want as the bullet.
That way you don't have to keep "inserting" a bullet, just tab to the next
cell. To print, select no lines from the table formatting box, and the lines
won't appear when the document is printed.

I can conceivably see how a three column table could help, but a text box?
