How do I sort a list of files in ascending order in Word?

How do I sort a list of files alphabetically in Word? Make sure each file name is on its own line. Define (highlight) the list. Click on "Table" then "Sort" (not an entirely logical place to put this feature BTW) then choose the options you want and click OK. Walla a sorted list. -- Bob http://www.kanyak.com |

Do you mean in the File Open dialog? If so select details view in that
dialog and click the header bar above the filename. If you mean a list of files in a Word document, then provided they are one per line, select them and use table sort. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org PM Henry wrote: How do I sort a list of files alphabetically in Word? |
