Updating styles across templates
Can anyone point me to a good, simple explanation of how style definitions
are driven by the Normal template? I have a large number of templates to update with revised styles, and was hoping I can make the changes once in the Normal template. Can anyone enlighten me further? |

Updating styles across templates
Thanks....helps a little, in that the answer seems to be:
"You can add, delete or modify styles in a template, and the change will affect documents you create from this template in the future. But it won't affect existing documents." However on the following linked page, it states that : "You can update the document with its template's styles. To do that, Tools Templates and Add€‘Ins. Tick the Automatically Update Document Styles box. Then, immediately go back and un-tick that box. Don't leave the box ticked." (http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/atta...ate/index.html) This leads me to think perhaps templates could also be updated with the styles from their parent template..... "Suzanne S.
