Someone e-mailed me a file written with an .cwk extension (my research

In Word 2002 or 2003, you can use the "Recover text from any file" file
type in the File|Open dialog box to open a ClarisWorks .cwk file, but you will only get the text... all of the formatting will be lost. Earlier versions of Word for Windows do not have the ability to import native-format .cwk files. From within ClarisWorks, it is possible to "save as" a Microsoft Word (.doc) or rich text format (.rtf) file, both of which Word can open. Or you might consider a third-party conversion program such as Dataviz Conversions Plus (see http://www.dataviz.com/products/conv...lus/index.html ). janice wrote: Someone e-mailed me a file written with an .cwk extension (my research indicates this is an Apple item). Unfortunately, I have Word 2000. But when I scolled down past all the
'boxes', the text was there. So I'm in business with the list. Thanks, all.
