2-Clicks Will NOT Open Word
The title says pretty much all of it. I double-click on any Word file and
some kind of 'shell' opens; all controls are grayed-out and there is no white sheet to type on. If I click and drag the file to this shell, I see a small plus-sign, so I release the mouse button and the file opens. There is something definitely wrong here, but not sure what. I recently installed Office 2007 and all other apps open just fine on a double-click event. Any thoughts on how to fix this? Thanks! Have you tried repairing the Word installation (click Office button | Word
Options; in the Resources category, click the Diagnose button)? -- Stefan Blom Microsoft Word MVP "ryguy7272" wrote: The title says pretty much all of it.
