Default Word spell check reverts to US english, I want Australian.

When I use spell check in Word 2000
even though I have set the language to English(Australian) it keeps on
bringing up words like 'colour', 'oesophageal' for incorrect spelling. And
spell check doesn't let me add new words.

See http://homepage.swissonline.ch/cindymeister/LangFmt.htm. If this doesn't
help, note that there was at least one version of Word in which the New
Zealand English proofing tools were said to work better for Australian
English than the Australian.
