When I use a 12 font in a business card, it prints in 16 font. What am I
doing incorrectly?

I am using the font for a business card (Avery 8371). I can see it in
"Enveloppes and Labels" diaglog box which was taken from the document. Both
fonts are 12.

renting the information in the dialog box. I have done this before and got a

points. Manual formatting will be carried to the label editor.

The text that is grabbed is formatted at 12.
I can only press "Print" in the "Envelope and Label" dialog box; there isn't
any option to change the size either by font size or percentage.

When you open the Print dialog (Ctrl-P), does something other than
"100%" appear as the size for printing?

Clicking the Print button often (i.e., in many of the places it's
offered) bypasses the Print dialog and sends the file directly to the
printer without giving you the opportunity to make any adjustments at
all. This is a Bad Thing.

You can select the text in the dialog - right click and format to whatever
size you like.
The default settings for envelopes are configured in the Envelope Address
paragraph style of the current template. For labels it's the normal style
that is used.

There isn't any indication to change the size when I use the Crtl_P except
"scale to paper size." I can only Crtl_P for the document and not the
"Envelope and Label" dialog box.

Actually, if you select the text in the Labels window and right-click, Font
is one of the shortcut menu options. But if you're using the New Document
button to get a sheet of the labels/cards, then you can certainly edit the
text directly in the document.
