Automatically add Footers to all documents in a folder
While you could add a footer to a folder full of documents, by macro, to do
so without some idea of what the documents contained and on documents of a diverse nature is fraught with danger. Documents can contain multiple footers some or all of which may already have content. Which footer would you want the filename to appear in? It might be safer not to put the filename in the footer, but to put it at the end of the document. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org "kim" wrote in message ... I don't think this is possible, but someone out there might know of a way. In Word 2007, is it possible to add a footer w/filename to an entire folder of documents without having to open each document and add the quickpart? |
