Default Strange place markers in word

Hello

I have strange place markers in all margin corners of my blank document.
They are light grey, righ-angled corner markers. When I click on print
preview they stay there. I have looked under Options, View, etc. etc. and
cannot seem to find where to turn them off.

Thank you.

See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=839371 "Margin marks or
crop marks appear on each corner of the page when you open a
document in Word 2002 or in Word 2003".
