Make the cell wider, use a smaller font, insert a hyphen, or use a shorter
word. " wrote in message ... I have a table where the cell is not wide enough for a word. the word breaks with out a hyphnen. How do i change that? Thanks |

Click where you want the word to break, and press Ctrl+hyphen to
insert an optional hyphen. wrote: I have a table where the cell is not wide enough for a word. the word breaks with out a hyphnen. How do i change that? Thanks |

Breaking words in cells
Hi ?B?Y29tcHV0aW5ndGxjQHlhaG9vLmNvbQ==?=,
I have a table where the cell is not wide enough for a word. the word breaks with out a hyphnen. How do i change that? If you're using a newer version of Word, look in Table/Table Properties/Cell/Options. Turn off "wrap text" and activate "Fit text". That will automatically change the font size so that the word fits on one line.
