Custom Templates in the Word 2007 File New Dialog
Hi ?B?TWljaGVhbCBIYWxsb3Jhbg==?=,
I would like the custom firm templates to show up in in the intial dialog you recieve in Word 2007 in File, New, instead of having to open up my templates. Not in the Word UI. Possibly, a System Policy could do this, I don't know. The place to ask about that would be the Office.Setup group. Custom Templates in the Word 2007 File New Dialog
Hi Michael,
This article desbribes the only way (as far as I've been able to find) that would do this, but currently it seems to have one major shortcoming. The templates are somehow cached so that changes to the xml file describing your custom templates are not reflected in Word. I'm currently trying to figure out why and how to get around it. In the meantime have a look and see if this helps you: http://technet2.microsoft.com/Office....mspx?mfr=true |
