Default Frames

I have been sent a word doc where the text appears to be imbedded in frames.
Is there a way to eliminate the frames without eliminating the text? Thank
you in advance for your assistance.

If they're really frames, Ctrl+A, Ctrl+Q will probably do it, though there's
no guarantee that the text will be in the right order.
