Default Office Word 2003

When I start a document or start a new sentence it does not use capital
letter. I think went you start a new sentence it is suppose to use capital
letters.

You are supposed to use the shift key.

Head to Tools/Autocorrect and see if the option to capitalize the first
letter of sentences is checked.
