Assuming you haven't just checked "Text boundaries" on the View tab of Tools
| Options, see “Margin marks or crop marks appear on each corner of the page when you open a document in Word 2002 or in Word 2003” http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=839371 -- Suzanne S. Only my own (Danish and Englsih) The link you provided make it sounds like a bug. Isnt it a feauture which you can intentionelly switch on and off? Or do you have to install a asian like language to enable it??? Either way I have it (and its not page margins but crop marks) and NO asian like language installed. Any suggestion where it came from then? Thanks for your help so far! Anders |

The crop marks appear along with the text boundaries when you enable them.
They appear alone when you enable an Asian language. No other cause is known. -- Suzanne S.
