how do i convert a file in word 2002 to excel 2002? or can i?
hi,
i currently have a couple of word documents that i would like to convert to excel, is this possible? i am currently running Word 2002 and Excel 2002. please help! |

how do i convert a file in word 2002 to excel 2002? or can i?
The two programs serve different purposes, but you can copy and paste
information between them. There is however no coverter available for converting a file prepared in one, directly into the other. thank you Doug for your fast reply. well i have a list of names with their
addresses, phone number, fax number, email addresses that i would like to put into an excel format. other then re-typing it all, can you suggest something? yes JoAnn, i have four cells, 1. sequence no., 2. name of organisation with
their corresponding address, phone number, fax number, email address, 3. contact names (can have up to 8 contacts), 4. name of their department. That's great!
There are a couple of different ways to do this. I would start with copying all of the filled cells in Word and pasting it into Excel. I'd promise to keep my fingers crossed but I'm just about to shut the system
down and go to sleep.
