spellcheck is missing incorrect grammar
Word does not see anything wrong with this sentence
It would very welcome if you were able to be part of the inauguration. Which should really read: It would be very welcome if you were able to be part of the inauguration. |

spellcheck is missing incorrect grammar
What's the difference? I don't see any. However, the sentence is stilted;
modern usage of American English would better render this as "We would be delighted if you could participate in the inauguration." "It would be very welcome..." is completely impersonal; welcome to whom? And what is meant by "part of?" This sounds like some type of participation, but the reader gets no clue as to what form that might take--it could vary from just being an attendee to giving a speech. spellcheck is missing incorrect grammar
"It would be very welcome if you were able to be part of the inauguration"
is actually not quite correct either. "It would be much appreciated" or "We would be very grateful" or "You would be very welcome" would be preferable. -- Suzanne S. 'You would very welcome' is also passwed as correct instead of 'You would be
very welcome' "Sheriff Ojugbele" wrote: Still doesn't tell me how I can resolve the issue. That's why most of us don't bother with the grammar checker. It's not
equivalent to a human reader. -- Suzanne S.
