Inserting today's date in Word 2007 document
Such a basic problem.....Word 2007.101 for sure.
I am very new to Msft 2007 Suite. I cannot figure out where is the icon or link to simply insert the date at the top of a document. |

Inserting today's date in Word 2007 document
Mort,
Word2007 uses a 'Ribbon' system of menus rather than the previous arrangement of drop down menus on the top bar. At the top left corner of the screen, look for the 'Insert' tab, just to the right of the 'Home' tab. Click on it, and a new set of options will appear on the ribbon, labelled in sections such as 'Pages' and 'Tables'. Look over to the right for the 'Text' section - it has options such as Text Box and Word Art. 'Date & Time' is on the Right side of the box. The other option is to use Access Keys. Hit the ALT key, type 'N' and then 'D' - JamesR "Mort" wrote: Such a basic problem.....Word 2007.101 for sure. I am very new to Msft 2007 Suite. Alt+Shift+D still works, too.
