Wordstar for DOS didn't use a standard extension (though .WS later became a
sort of standard). For WS for DOS there is a converter linked from my web site that will recognize the WS extension.. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org frearl wrote: Is there a way to convert wordstar files into word |

Hi Frearl,
Wordstar files can be converted with one of the discontinued MS converters or a 3rd party product, but .SDW files are Starwriter/OpenOffice documents rather than Wordstar files and there are no MS converters for that product, but you can download the whole app from the Open Office website. ======= "frearl" wrote in message news Is there a way to convert wordstar files into word -- Let us know if this helped you, Bob Buckland ?:-) MS Office System Products MVP *Courtesy is not expensive and can pay big dividends* For Everyday MS Office tips to "use right away" - http://microsoft.com/events/series/a...andtricks.mspx |
