Default individual scrolling in side by side view, in Word 2003

When I have 2 documents displayed in the Side by Side view, they both scroll
when I scroll one of them. Is it possible to only scroll one, and leave the
other on the area selected.
Thanks lots for your help

Default

When you are using Side by Side, you should have a small floating toolbar,
one of the buttons on which is for Synchronous Scrolling; click it to turn
it off.
