Is there software to convert a word file to WordPerfect so it can be viewed
by a neighbor who has WordPerfect not word? Any help appreciated.

Save it as a Rich Text Format (.rtf) file. This can be opened by any word
processor.

Alternatively, your neighbour can download the free Word Viewer from
Microsoft and read or print any Word file.
