Scrollbars do not work
I have a user whose Word scrollbars seem to be locked. He can scroll using
the mouse wheel. The scrollbars work if I open up Word in safe mode (winword.exe /a). I uninstalled office and reinstalled. I also replaced normal.dot. It still doesn't work. Ideas? |

It sounds as though you may have an add-in which is conflicting.
See the steps in http://word.mvps.org/mac/add-ins.html to see if you can figure out which one is causing the problem. -- Dawn Crosier Microsoft MVP "Education Lasts a Lifetime" This message was posted to a newsgroup, Please post replies and questions to the group so that others can learn as well. Scrollbars do not work
When I go into the Office 10 folder there is a folder named startup, but it
is empty. I also added the com-addin feature to the Tools menu bar. It listed two add-ins, but they were not checked (eastern european/web tools). He does have Adobe PDF standard installed and the PDF toolbar is displayed when you open Word. "Dawn Crosier, Word MVP" wrote: It sounds as though you may have an add-in which is conflicting. Scrollbars do not work
Go into the control panel and turn off PDFMaker to see if that will help.
