Recipient List
I have finally managed to open a data source and have the correct fields show
on the recipient list. The database source is one created by someone else and is a view created in Enterprise Manager. How do I customize the recipient list to look like I want it to the next time it opens. Specifically, I want to arrange the columns in a different order and delete certain columns. -- S |

Recipient List
Use a catalog or in Word XP and later it is called directory type mailmerge
main document that uses that data source and insert the fields that you want in the order that you want them into the cells of a single row table in the main document. Execute the merge to a new document and then insert a row at the top of the table in that document and type field names into the cells of that row. Save that document and use it as your data source. -- Hope this helps. Please reply to the newsgroup unless you wish to avail yourself of my services on a paid consulting basis.
