is there a way to count how many ? are in a word doc or any character for all

I did think it was a funny way to phrase a question, but I have seen much worse before... |

1. Ctrl+F to open the Find dialog.
2. Type "?" (without the quotation marks) in the "Find what" box. 3. Check the box for "Highlight all items found." 4. Click Find All. Word will tell you how many instances it found. -- Suzanne S.
