Default Insert key with 2007

I have always been able to toggle between insert or override with insert key
but it is not working. I think it was working but I do not know what I did
but it is not working now. No one here uses this option.

Default Insert key with 2007

Click the Office button, and then click Word Options. In the Advanced
category, click to select "Use the Insert key to control overtype mode"
(under "Editing options") and click OK.
