When in a footer, I always use the Autotext features, insert file name,
location, etc. The list box is now empty, when I looked at just Autotext,
under tools options, there is nothing in the section at all.

What happened to all my options. I must place specific data in all my
footer that automatically updates. Help

The usual reason for this is that you have saved a document or template as
Normal.dot.

This happens most frequently when someone overwrites the normal.dot
template.
