Date changes format after being merged from Data Source to Documen
Why is it that when attempting to merge information from my data source
(excel), that the date format changes in the merging document (word). In the excel spreadsheet the column for dates has been formatted to show e.g. 12 February 2009, but once merged the date shows as 02/12/09 - which incidentially is the Amercian way of depicting the date, nothing wrong with that but in the UK it would be too confusing! I have tried formatting excel again and merging again but it does not seem to work. What is the problem and how can I rectify it? Many thanks Rhianne |
