Add # followed by the name of the point in the web page you want to go to,
at the end of the hyperlink. .. -- Enjoy, Tony "henserlj" wrote in message ... I have a hyperlink in a document and I want to click on the link and have ot take me to the appropriate section on the webpage, not to the top of the webpage each time...how do I do this? TIA |

If this is your own Web page, you can insert a bookmark on the page and add
it to the hyperlink after a # sign as Tony indicates. If it's a Web page you did not create and cannot edit, you're SOL unless the page designer has already assigned a bookmark; if there is any sort of TOC or links bar at the top of the page that allows you to skip to sections farther down the page, then bookmarks already exist. Click on the link to go to the desired section and the Address Bar in your browser will reflect the required URL for your hyperlink. -- Suzanne S.
