Default How do I remove margin markers?

Word 2003/ XP Home

I do not understand why, but recently every new Word document I open has, in
each corner of the page, some sort of marker ( 2 lines at 90 degrees to each
other) which seem to do with page margins. I have no idea how to get rid of
them.

Can anyone help?
