New Printer...can you change the settings for existing documents?
I'm not sure if I'm in the correct newsgroup so if I'm not please direct me
to it. We are currently using Word2003 / HP LJ4250 (PCL6). There are several users/documents and we want to make this transition as easy as possible (which so far isn't happening). Our users have existing documents that were setup for different drawers, there old printer (HP LJ4050) had 2 drawers and manual feed and the new one has 3 drawers + manual feed. Therefore, do the users have to go into the page setup every time they want to print an existing document and change the tray setting for the proper tray or can I do this for them programmatically? I know what your thinking... just change the paper around in the trays (I thought of that too) however, it isn't possible in this case. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. |
